5-Wire resistive Touch Screen
5-wire touch screens are mainly used for military, industrial, navigation, and so on. 5 wire resistive touch can be produced from 5.7'' to 24.0'', is suitable in many different systems and different environment.
In a 5-wire touch screen, the top layer, normally an ITO film, is a sensor layer while the main circuitry is located in the layer underneath. While the sensor layer is conductive, even broken, it will not affect the second layer to calculate the precise touch location.
